My husband, 15 year old son and I took the afternoon racecourse trip down the Rio Grande river. We had a blast. Our guide Christine was knowledgeable about everything from history of the people, land and activities. She put us at ease and we felt safe and had fun navigating the river course. We highly recommend this to others.

My family of four (including my 12 year old and 15 year old boys) opted for the funyaks. Our guides, Chris and Bill, were responsive and calm under pressure - especially when my younger son had a spill on the rapids. Thanks for a wonderful, wild ride! A perfect way to explore the river and experience the beauty of the area.

This is our second time using Far Flung and definitely won't be our last! We took 3 kids, ranging in ages from 6-13 and they all enjoyed every minute of it. Richard was an amazing guide and kept the kids entertained the whole trip. He made our 13 year old the 'lead' paddler which made him feel like a stud. He talked about it the rest of the day! Not only was Richard great with the kids, he was very knowledgeable about the area and the river. My husband had a ton of questions and he was able to answer them all. He also had some cool stories to tell about the area. If you take your kids on this trip, definitely ask for Richard :)
