We've been on many did tours and thus was among the best! Not only were the restaurants we went to excellent, our tour guide (Jessica) was amazing! Obviously knew Jacksonville had history, however didn't realize how much..... And Jessica was very knowledgeable and energetic about it!

This is a MUST DO choice when in JAX! Jessica is the BEST! She guided us through this culinary EXPERIENCE, tying the food and drink selections we were sampling to the history of the area and the influences of the individuals that settled the area. She has a fantastic depth of knowledge of the history of Florida, particularly Jacksonville and a fun, engaging way of presenting it. The stops at the Casbah Cafe, The Brick, Corks and Thyme, Whit’s Custard, Peterbrooke Chocolatier, and Biscotti’s were excellent. The service at each location was outstanding. Partially, I observed, because Jessica was well known by and to all of the staffs. Seatings were in place upon each arrival and each session ran smoothly. Of note, The Casbah served, among other choices, the best stuffed grape leaves and falafel I’ve had since leaving Tel Aviv in 1995. The wine tasting @ Cork and Thyme was perfect. Anna led us through a choice selection of great wines with a nice charcuterie to tie it up. There were five people on our tour and by the end we were pretty much all friends, singing Happy Birthday to the one who was celebrating. Will do this one again!!
