This is an amazing tour! Our guide, Justin, knew so much. It was amazing. He had answers to almost all of our questions. He was a pleasure to spend the day with. He truly made the trip magical. Make sure you get the banana bread, coconut candy, and macadamia nut brittle. This can be a pretty serious hike in some places, so be prepared and trust your guide! And take Dramamine if you get motion sickness.

There were six of us and when we booked, I got the impression that since we are paying $320 per person, we will have a comfortable car. (The average price of a Hana tour is $149 per person and they provide breakfast and lunch) That was not the case. We had a Chrysler mini van and my expectation was a large mini van or a regular touring van. 6 passenger in that mini van for 8-9 hours is way too tight and uncomfortable!! They should not advertise 6 passenger! They should say maximum of 5. The Chrysler mini van, fit 3 people in the back, 2 people in the middle seats and 1 person next to the driver. Lunch: The lunch should have been covered by the tour as well, but they only covered lunch at food trucks (which was OK), but they did not cover the drinks. The driver said, he did not have any cash with him (unprepared!). Given the amount of money we paid per person, we expected a modest Restaurant in Hana with seating facility and bathroom. They should have spent I rate the lunch at 2 star Driver: Our driver/ guide, Adam was excellent! He drove well and was very accommodating. He knew the road well and he knew how to navigate the difficult parts of the road. He was fun and helpful. Most importantly was a safe driver! I rate the driver 5 star Videography Adam used his GoPro and chronicled our trip and handed us the memory card. This was very nice! I rate this 5 star Sceneries: We loved the water falls. We only stopped at one of them. We also enjoyed the swim at the black sand beach. Took a lot of pictures. 5 star Road to Hana: The drive took us 9 hours, which is what we requested! I recommend to those who can not tolerate bumpy rides not to go full circle and return after visiting Hana. We enjoyed it because we got to see the other side of the volcano which was very different. My recommendation is to spend more time hiking and swimming in the many water falls before arriving in Hana. My main reason for a 3 star was the car and the company not covering our drinks, having paid $320 per person. I rate the car 1 star and lunch at 2 star.

The private tour was the way to go! We got to see things with a personal touch! Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and knew all the hidden gems to take us to!
