Our Scenic Float on the Rogue River is a scenic, casual, relaxing affair. There are small class I & II riffles and rapids along the way. The Rogue River Scenic Float is where we use our large, comfortable, excursion rafts with padded seats and backrests on this mellow but beautiful and secluded piece of the famous Rogue River.

We take our lunch at The Discovery Park. This park is a boat-in only park on the Rogue River and will be a favorite for families!

You will have the option to purchase lunch/snacks, beverage of your choice, and play in the private park. Food options to accommodate everyone's taste; Vegan & GF to meat lovers will be available from The Discovery Park food truck. Snack foods, ice cream and a large assortment of non-alcoholic & alcoholic options are available!

My teenage daughter and I enjoyed our half-day on the river — well, she would have enjoyed it more if it included actual rapids, but I was too scared for that. We had several other family groups along with us, and got seated in the largest raft with two older couples. Until the snack break (chips, crackers, veggies, watermelon with salsa and hummus, plus cookies, water and iced tea), daughter padded in a solo inflatable kayak. Our guide, Paul, advised her on how to handle some trickier spots on the river. If we brought gloves, she would have kept going — but she switched out with one of the ladies in our raft. The last bit included a bigger rapid (maybe class 2, at most), which was fun! Be prepared for a wait at the end, because these hard working guides need to pull up and load everything on their trailers, at a poorly maintained ramp. They were great throughout, though — super informed about the local rivers and rafting, and very pleasant. We highly recommend this company — but if you can, actually go white water rafting. If you are like me, you will enjoy the lazy river just fine.

We took the Half Day Rogue River Trip, and had a great time going down the river at a nice and easy pace. Paul and Dale were our guides and showed us a great time, both were very helpful and accommodating. We would do this again when we come Ashland!

We had a great time doing the scenic float yesterday with Tanner and our guide Larry. They were friendly and knowledgeable. We will for sure be back for the introduction to whitewater trip next time we visit. Everything about this adventure was perfect from the reservation process to the trip. A great day
