Awesome full day Royal Gorge trip with family and PJ and Joe as guides. Could not have any better guides, they are the best! The Gorge has awesome views, the weather was perfect and it was a day we won't forget. We were provided lunch with the full day and I was expecting a cold cut sandwich but it was so much more! Our driver did a great job of shopping and PJ and Joe created an unbelievable spread. It goes by so fast, definitely recommend the full day trips!

What a fantastic first Whitewater trip for my kids to experience. Everything was so organized from registration online to filling out waivers ahead of time, to the information provided and help upon arrival. Im not 100% sure we were the royal gorge full day or another full day option. Our daughter recently turned 4 and just met the age requirements for the class/class 2 full day trip so that is what we did. PJ was our guide and was simply top class every step of the way. We were the only family doing this full day trip and had a lot fo the river to ourselves and got to experience a personalized tour with PJ. He expertly steered the raft when he wante to point things out or when we spotted wildlife like a whitetail fawn by the river, a large male mule deer with a huge antler rack, or an osprey that flew from tree limb to tree limb as we went through a lower canyon. Lunch in downtown Salida was a lot of fun, what a cool little town! PJ again went above and beyond with a delicious spread for lunch, something for everyone and not just meat and cheese but fresh vegetables, hummus horseradish etc, he made sure we didnt go hungry! Pj deftly guided the raft so as to meet the kids desire to catch some whitewater as well at times too. Cannot say enough good things about PJ and Adventure Tours. Our kids now cannot wait to go rafting again which is perhaps the best thing of all. We hope to be back!

The Royal Gorge full day raft trip with Performance Tours was amazing. Breathtaking views and great rapids. Guide Drew has many years experience and fun stories. They also took great care at lunch to accommodate my friend with a couple allergies which was good to see. I recommend the full day! We felt like we were just getting more comfortable with the rapids at the end of the first half of the day. The rapids on this trip were also better on the second half of the river. Great experience! Definitely recommend!
