We did the half day ride with Mel. It was terrific. We not only saw spectacular views from the tops of mountains and ridges, we learned about the geology and history of the people that make up the beautiful landscape. We highly recommend the excursion.

Our group of 4 took the half day Jeep Tour of Royal Gorge on a Sunday. We were between renting our own Jeep and taking the tour, but opted for the Tour and were so glad we did! The information provided and the views were excellent. We were able to go through areas that are not for public use, including driving across the Royal Gorge Bridge. Our tour guide was Bart and he was fun, informational and accommodating. We combined this package with a half-day of rafting as well. Highly recommend!

Yay! So happy to know that Bart did a great job. We know that the time people spend on vacation is relatively short, and we do our best to help you make the most of it. Our extended family of 12 recently took the half day Royal Gorge Jeep Tour. We were split into 2 jeeps. Bob was the guide for one of the Jeeps, which had several kids in it ranging age 9-15. Mel was the guide for our Jeep. I was pleasantly surprised by this tour. We covered so many areas...some in town, and some in places that were not open to the public. Lots of off-roading adventures! Bob and Mel were both very knowledgeable about the area and had lots of interesting stories to tell. Everyone in our group, from age 9 to 75 really enjoyed this tour. Bring water bottles, hat, and sunscreen, as you are in the sun at times.
