We had an excellent tour with Matthew! He had extensive knowledge of the Richmond area and was very personable. It was the first thing we did when we arrived in Richmond. The tour provided us with a great lay of the land and we were able to pick several attractions we wanted to visit based on what we saw. I felt that our guide took his time and didn’t rush through any of the sites. One of the best highlights if you’re traveling with small children is that they will pick you up directly in front of your hotel for a small fee. I think it was like five dollars or something… they also keep the rain shields on during the cooler months and have heated seats. We were also provided with a warm blanket for our tour which we appreciated. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family. The next time I’m in Richmond visiting I will likely sign up to do one of their other tours as they offer a lot of different varieties. This unique experience is well worth the money and is a must do when visiting the Richmond area. I’ve been to a lot of big cities and have never had such a unique tour experience. The best part is the tours are private so you and the other members of your party can ask as many questions as you want or can customize the experience to things you have interest to see.

Jimi, our tour guide was great. He grew up in Richmond and is very proud of his town. We asked him to take us to some of the “must see” places and that is exactly what he did. He blended his own experiences and those of his family along with the city’s history. It was a pleasure to spend time with him and see the city in a very different way.

We had the most amazing time this past weekend on the city light tour to celebrate our anniversary. Our driver Matt took us by so many Richmond sights. The vehicle stayed really warm despite it being 35 degrees outside. Highly recommend to anyone especially if you are looking for a unique romantic experience!
