This was a fun experience but there was not a lot of communication by the captain or others on the boat as to where we were, what we were seeing, or if there was something we should be paying attention too. Everyone was friendly and you are allowed to walk around, look outside, etc.

Great way to see the Mass shore line enroute to Salem. Way faster then driving a car and at a great price! Even on a cooler day you can sit inside or brave the weather and sit outside on the rear or upper deck

The crew and ferry were great, my issue is how scary the ride was once we picked up full speed. We were coming up out of the water and slamming down with such force, I nearly had a panic attack. We did NOT take the ferry back to Boston after that. I just wish someone had warned us how violent the trip can be. I love boats, and I don’t get seasick, but this was like a roller coaster with never ending drops!
