Disappointed! There were three guides for the same tour, ours, Bob, was knowledgeable on witches stories but he would just stop at random places and start talking about them. He did not take us to places that are related to the stories or tie a location with a story. Half of the people from our group left the tour within the first half hour. We ended up leaving too before the end, it was getting boring. We were looking forward to it and it was upsetting to go through this experience.

Sorry you feel this way but not sure what you were expecting. It's been 300 years so many structures are long gone. Only one remains and we go there. This isn't a tour about practicing Wicca or Wiccan and walking around wearing a witch outfit. This is real, detailed information about what happened in 1692 and what people did and said to each other resulting in 25 deaths. It is compelling and fascinating.

Very disappointed! I enjoyed walking and seeing parts of Salem that I would not have seen on my own and enjoyed the passion our tour guide had, but to just stop at driveways, parking lots and staring at a Walgreens was just not what I expected! When we passed, yes passed the witches dungen, passed the witches house, just to again to stand in a parking lot to be told what was inside. It would have been nice to have options with your tours, pay a few dollars more and get to actually see dungeons and houses instead of looking at the Walgreens. I kinda have to laugh as well after my frustrations that in the beginning of the tour we were told no video or pictures, video and pictures of other tourists walking off the tour to go have a drink at Turners, since that was yet another parking lot we attended.

Sorry you feel that way. We're really not sure what you expected, but it has been 300 years and many of the sites have been demolished. Only one location with direct ties to the witch craft trials remains and we go there. We do not go to Walgreens so we really have no clue what you mean. The tour does not go inside any of the attractions. None of the walking tours do that. The cost to do that would be $150, not $15. Going inside the attractions is something you would pay on your own separately. We tell people no videos of our tours, but pictures are perfectly okay so you may have heard that wrong.

I was expecting a tour that built suspense, made it "believable" since it is halloween month and salem... the tour pretty much debunked all the rumors and legends. we stopped in places where buildings "used to be"... it really depends on what you are looking for. We actually left the tour before the end.

We're sorry this was not what you expected, but this is the truth and not a Hollywood movie. There are lots of TV shows and movies that have told half truths and complete lies. Our tour tells some personal stories of what people were doing to each other and also debunks the myths surrounding what happened in 1692.
