We had one day in SLC and this was the perfect way to see it! Got all the sights in and learned a lot in the process. Note that your tour is not exactly as described (e.g. we didn’t have lunch bc it was a 2pm tour and there was no concert), as it depends on what time your tour is and what’s open. Temple Square is also massively under construction, be aware. One down side was we had a person on our tour be 10 minutes late to the rendezvous point after the first stop. And even then the tour guide didn’t seem to know how many people were on the bus, so I wish we could have had a little more time at the Capitol. But I still highly recommend!

Thanks for the nice review. As described in the brochure, the 2 1/2 hour 2:00 pm tour overview of the City in September is somewhat different than the 10:00 am tour because of what you mentioned. It is described in smaller print..

We are truly sorry the AIRLINES canceled you and that your other plans could not include a later tour than the one you booked. We are always accommodating for you to take another tour at no additional cost. We also encourage travelers to consider buying trip insurance to cover these types of issues.
