À quoi s'attendre
1
Coachella Valley Preserve
Here your adventure makes it's first stop at the 3rd largest Oasis in the world. Here you will walk over a bridge that straddles the actual faultline. 30 minutes are spent here where there is about a half mile trail you can optionally take with your guide. Restrooms are also located here before we venture far into the wilderness.
2
San Andreas Fault
We travel by Hummer into the mouth of a canyon that was formed by the San Andreas Fault. Here the adventure in your Hummer begins and we follow a road many Jeeps will need to return. 1.5 billion year old rocks are in this canyon that date back to the bottom of the Grand Canyon! The scenery is mind-bending as you see the tortured rock formations beneath the cobalt blue skies of the high desert.

We had received an email stating we would not be able to go to the faults during the month of May. They did however substitute the Oasis with another. The trip was awesome. We enjoyed the tour guide "Blonde Josh" so much . Had little corny jokes that kept us laughing the hole trip. Josh was also very knowledgeable. He was full of all types of fun facts about the area we were in and also the Hummer., The ride in the Hummer was great and really comfortable even for us old folks at 53, lol Josh even takes the best pictures of us

I was called the mooring of the tour that the hammer was taken for repair and not be available for the 3PM scheduled tour. I was told If I would be available at 4PM. I agreed We was scheduled to meet at a location 30 mins from my hotel ( no hotel pick-up). While I was in a Uber with the four other people scheduled for the trip, I received a phone call asking if I was available the next day. I informed them that I had other plans so to reimbursement the cost of the tour for four ( I am still waiting for that reimbursement). I asked if I would get reimbursed for the Uber trip to and from the designated location for pick-up and drop-off, of course no response.

Your tour was canceled due to a mechanical issue with our vehicle. Your tickets were paid with TripAdvisor and we have asked them to refund you 2 weeks ago. We would like to offer you a free tour next time you are in town to allow you to truly make a sound judgment about the tour you did not take. Our Hummers travel to very remote locations that make us very cautious to run a tour if even the slightest issue arises. Although we rarely have to cancel a tour, a canceled tour is far better than being stuck in an area that could take hours for a rescue crew to reach you. I am sorry that you choose to negatively review a tour unfortunately you DID NOT TAKE. Safety is a huge concern for us and I hope you can take our offer for a free tour for yourselves in the future. I'm sure you will love it!!

The only plus was our guide (Justin I believe...) to make it short: I was very disappointed . A worthless and expensive trip and a waste of time. The Joshua tree state park (an hour away from Palm Springs) is better and great BUT again very expensive, renting a car and going there by yourself will be less money.
