The hop-on and hop-off is well worth the money. We bought a 3-day day pass. The first day was just a ride around to see where everything was. Time well spent discoverd where to park free next day and hop-on at stop two. The buses were comfortable but in need of maintenace. One had as air bag stabilizer go out. Other had a "wrap" on which made looking out the window totally useless. Youe cannot see out let alone take pictures. The drivers were wonderful... funny, enjoyed their position, safe. The company is very blessed to have them... they love San Antonio.

We got that bus back to our facility quickly and had it repaired. We agree that we have a wonderful team of driver/tour guides and we are very lucky to have them. For the most part our experience was great...especially the first day when we got on the bus with TC. He was helpful jk and courteous and overall our experience with him was great! The second day, we were allowed to get on a bus, the hand rail on top was loose so we sat for almost 30 minutes while they tried to repair and finally loaded us into another bus. We went to the Pearl and was dropped off at a stop sign under a viaduct about a block away and was told, this is where the bus will pick you up. Explored and went back to the "dropoff" as instructed and waited over 40 minutes to see a bus come up the street and stop at the opposite corner...while we were waving and running towards the bus, the guy blew past us and left us in the dust!! NOT HAPPY! My husband called the company and was basically told too bad, you will have to wait for another bus, so there we waited 30 more minutes for another bus. None of the drivers are consistent with drop offs and pick ups....wasnt really worth it I didnt think....

Thank you for your review and your feedback Mona. We are sorry to hear about the problems with the pickup and drop off points and we are going to talk to the drivers about it today. There is some construction around the Pearl so some times we have to make some changes but all the drivers should be in sync regarding the stop. We will address that today. Went to San Antonio to visit family and decided to do the tourist thing. I bought tickets online through the San Antonio River Walk Cruise and Hop On Hop Off tour. The river cruise and Hop On and Hop off tour were great. It ended up raining when we had our cruise schduled but the representative at the main office was super nice and helped us with all of our options. She also told us about he Hop On and Hop off tour and how it worked. All the staff were very friendly and accomodating. Definetely worth the money.
