Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!
Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

last time I was issued a 50% Voucher because no whales were around. This time we were lucky with the Whales and I got even a free tour despite forgetting the voucher! that’s friendly!

The crew was wonderful. They are very professional and lead us to see grey whales 4 of them and the largest migration or short nose dolphins must have been 1 to 2 thousand all over followed our boat halfway back it was wonderful experience.

Purchased tour on Groupon. First scheduled time got canceled due to weather so we went out next day. Waves were still pretty rough. A lot of people got sick. Staff did recommend taking anti-sickness medications but a lot of people didn’t. We ended up seeing several whales and a ton of different dolphins. Staff posts free pictures on their Facebook page. Well worth the price, just take the nausea medicine. LOL.
