Our trips depart from Mission Bay, which requires only a short 10 minute journey access to the open ocean where whales and dolphins can be seen! The search for whales and other animals begins as soon as you depart the dock and our marine biologists are on the microphone explaining exactly what to expect and what you are seeing from the get go!
Typically our trips are 2.5-3 hours in length, but time can vary based on seasons and locations of sightings.

No whales despite a perfect day out on the ocean during peak whale watching season. You never know what you're going to get when it comes to nature, but we did have the coolest dolphin viewing experience. It was a complete surprise to my family to come across a couple of pods of hundreds of dolphins each! We had never seen anything like it with dolphins jumping out of the water next to the boat.

Beautiful sunny clear sky day. Loads of dolphins. We saw a bit of a whales tail, unfortunately not the whole whale, but it was still an amazing experience.

The whale sighting was great, but the dolphins were even more fun. Our guide was very knowledgeable and got great pictures as well.
