Terrific, fun and laid-back experience for any winery-tour initiate. Roman was our guide; he drove, he narrated, he was pretty much a one-man show! Schedule started off with prompt pickup in DTSF, a "complimentary" tour of the city as we meandered downtown picking up other guests. We then crossed the GG Bridge over to John Muir Woods, which was absolutely beautiful and well worth the $15 admission price. Following that was a quick jaunt into Napa for a tasting and photo ops @ Kieu Hoang Winery. We then made it over to Sonoma for lunch and two other wineries. Finished off the day with photo ops of the GG bridge on the north end, which was really nice with to no crowds! From start to finish took about 9 hours. Highly recommend eating a large breakfast or bring snacks with you as you can spend quite some time trekking around before lunch. Also, your experience may differ with the availability of wineries but nonetheless will be a great time! Taking off one star because of the heavy push to tip our guide which became uncomfortable at times. To his credit, though, Roman was an excellent guide, stuck to the itinerary to the T and was jovial with all the guests, he definitely made the experience fun and lighthearted. Highly recommend Extranomical Tours to pop your winery tour cherry (or rather, grape)!
