I would have loved this tour if we were able to go but boys ended up getting covid. Very upset that although I called on the morning of the tour as soon as we were informed - the message was not passed on to the appropriate people. Received 3 calls from different people to check in on where we were (it was nice that they were waiting). I would think that given the pandemic and unprecedented times - I would have thought that I would be offered a refund - it is expensive for a family of 5 (~$900) - but I was offered to continue the tour the next day?! How would that be possible and be an ethical decision as a responsible citizen, a parent, and a health care professional?? I truly think Viator tours are the best way to experience the world but given this experience - I am disappointed. I am certain that I would have enjoyed Muir woods with Viator rather than driving the risky roads where my husband had to keep his eyes on the twists and turns, not having the opportunity to enjoy the views.

So sorry to hear you had to deal with illnesses on your vacation. That's a tough one. For you and others who book through a travel agent, you must contact them about a refund. They hold your funds and do not pass them on to the tour operator until weeks after the tour. We will support whatever Viator want to do, so please contact them asap about your situation. I'm sure they will be understanding.
