Tom was a very friendly and knowledgeable tour guide who really takes his job seriously. Not to knock ghost tours or anything, but I really appreciated that he took a grounded approach to the history of Salem and the witch trials, rather than trying to make the tour "spooky" with some rumors of ghosts or violent stories about torture. Another thing I really appreciated was his unique experience as both a Satanist and a witch. I myself am a member of the Satanic Temple, so it was definitely interesting to hear from someone who is involved in a lot of the day-to-day of TST, but it was also enlightening to hear his perspective as a person who ialso identifies as a witch. I learned a lot from Tom on this tour, about history, about philosophy, and about how to be a better person. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone, regardless of their views on Satanists and witches.

We had a fantastic walking tour with Tom! It ended up just being my husband and I on the tour and we are so grateful that the tour was not cancelled due to lack of people because we were so looking forward to it. Tom was incredible! He is so knowledgeable about the sites in and around Salem as well as the actual history - not just the tales and ghost stories but real facts about the city and the people that have shaped it and what we can learn from Salem. We had tons of questions for him about the city and The Satanic Temple and even his own experiences as a practicing witch. He answered all our questions without making us feel dumb for having them. Highly recommend this tour!

We really enjoyed taking TST’s walking tour of Salem. Tom was super knowledgeable about Salem’s history and didn’t whitewash anything or add any tourist-y kitsch. He showed us a lot of historical sites we would have otherwise not known about and missed and also had a lot of good recommendations for other things to do while visiting Salem. Definitely recommend.
