Next up is the site of the Pulaski Hotel, once the go-to spot for lavish Savannah parties. The hotel was torn down in 1957 to make way for more modern buildings, but people say some guests never left... Keep your eyes and ears open for signs of little Gracie, who still lingers here to this day.

Chippewa Square
Continuing along your route, you'll reach Wright Square. This pleasant public square hides a dark past. It is here where some convicts were hanged to death, including a pair of young lovers accused of killing their abusive master. Some say their spirits still wander the square to this day.

Place Reynolds

Loved that the tour was controlled by me. Stop and start wherever and whenever. The app also showed options for dining, restrooms and other amenities. The app didn’t configure very well on my phone but my friend didn’t have a problem at all. We both have the latest iPhones if that matters at all. Keep in mind that the constant routing and storytelling could drain your phone battery. Take a charger if you can. We really enjoyed the tour and The Pink House and the Mercer-Williams House were our favorites.

I’m glad you found the dining, restroom, and amenity options helpful, and it’s great that you enjoyed The Pink House and Mercer-Williams House. Your note about bringing a charger is spot on for longer walks. If you're planning to travel more, our Action+ Tour Bundle has a variety of self-guided tours you might like. Thanks again!
