I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews, but I really, really wish I would have seen some honest reviews before going. This was surprisingly boring. Mostly, this guy told us repeatedly that he had too much caffeine (which was incredible because he was s-o-o-o s-l-o-w.) and that he would be getting to the point soon, which he never did and lastly, that he was...remarkable in amazing ways that he was able to report but not show. It was supposed to take an hour, it took an hour and a half. We heard a total of 3 disjointed, disorganized, mostly unfinished "ghost" stories that he seemed to doubt himself. I spent most of the time looking at the ground because I felt pretty sorry for him. He mentioned that he is a musician, maybe he could revisit that...he didn't seem to have too much fun either.

Greetings TheStressTherapist --- First of all please excuse the long delay in responding to your review. It is of course, disappointing to hear of your own disappointment with the tour. In reading it over I can only conclude that, although I cant please every guest out of the thousands who have gone out with me over the last 13 years, I do take your review to heart. Although I cant undo the experience you had with me, please know that I sincerely wish I could! But we don't have that luxury in life. Just know that it caused me to look closely at what I do to see how best to make improvements and especially in my own attitude and overall level of enthusiasm for leading tours. It is all too easy to reach a burnout stage when leading thousands of tours over the years. And perhaps that is what you experienced. My sincere apologies and at least know that your review caused me to re-evaluate my approach and commitment to making sure guests have a great experience from now on . Thank you for taking time to comment.

We had a lovely tour with Chase. He was the perfect host with a broad breadth of historical lore that provided a great backdrop for a fun and informative tour.

The leader appeared to be under the influence of something. Rambled about not much of anything. Bored to death even on Hallptnoght

First of all, Susan, please accept my apology for taking so long to respond. To some degree I wish I could blame "being under the influence of something" for what sounds like a horrible experience you had with me. But I do not lead tours under the influence of anything so all I can blame is my own sobriety! Then I read reviews like yours and it makes me wonder if its time to get out of leading ghost tours entirely. But each day is chance to get it right and at least it seems that I do for most of the guests leaving reviews here. Again, thanks for taking time to write a review and so sorry that your experience with me was a negative one. Please know that, although far from perfect, I do take these critiques seriously and try to improve as a result to match the standards I set for myself.
