The river cruise was excellent, but the hop-on, hop-off trolley tour was horrible. First, you do not hop-on, hop-off this trolley. The trolley is only for the full 90 minute tour. To go from one spot to another, you must take a shuttle bus. We were told that the shuttle would come by every stop within a 20 minute timeframe. This is not true. At one stop we waited for 10 minutes, then called twice to be picked-up. We waited a total of 40 minutes, never seeing the shuttle bus. We ended up walking from point to point. I rate Oglethorpe Tours a zero out of five.

We choose the two day hop on hop off plus 1 hour River Cruise. The first thing we did was the full 1 1/2 hour narrated trolley tour. Very informative. One nice things was that the trolley was willing to leave us off at sites not listed as stops. this might have been because it was raining like crazy and there were not a lot of other guests. At any rate that service was greatly appreciated. All trolley operators were knowledgeable and pleasant. The one hour river cruise is well worth the time. Savannah is a huge seaport one of the biggest in the US. This tour explains a lot about the port and shipping.

The staff of this tour company was poorly trained. They gave us misinformation numerous times. I asked them to pick up at a historic Inn that we were staying at, they never heard of it. We wasted 1 1/2 hours the first day waiting for their bus.
