Our snowshoeing adventure was intense, I would do this again in a heartbeat! Our guides Michelle & Ryan were wonderful. They checked with us to ask what our preference was on our hike, if we wanted more moderate or more challenging with amazing views. Of course I picked more challenging! My husband and myself are in our early 50s, although we are quite active we have also put on the COVID extra weight! In saying that we struggled a bit with our adventure hike, had to take “extra” water breaks to catch our breath. Our group had different ages and levels of experience. Our guides were great on allowing everyone to go at their own pace and not leaving anyone behind that wanted to do the full hike. They were also great by constantly asking if everyone was ok, and if anyone decided not to go forward that was ok too – which some did decide. There was always one guide with each group to make sure everyone was alright. They provided all the equipment and taught us how to use. Depending on the weather conditions and the hike you should expect to have a fall or two if you have never snowshoed before, I kept stepping on my shoe and tripping myself! I am afraid of heights, so on the way down I sled on some of the hills LOL In saying that, you should dress appropriately; waterproof clothes (we wore our snow bibs) and in layers in case you get hot. We took a backpack to store our jackets that came off and water/snacks. This adventure tour did not disappoint, the views were just breathtaking and our group was super fun!
