Scott loves his hometown and provides wonderfully rich descriptions of the beautiful sights throughout Jackson Hole and the Grand Tetons. He knows the stories of the families who settled there and shares them beautifully. The pace of the tour was perfect - we saw a lot but never felt rushed. We also loved seeing the non-touristy parts of Jackson.

Scott is an exceptional tour guide! He pick me and a colleague up at the hotel, had water, juice, muffins, fruit, and nut bars to get us going that early! We meandered through the National Elk Refuge and Grand Teton National Park, stopping at a number of amazing photo spots. More importantly, he had an outstanding local knowledge of the area, giving us an insight into the history of Jackson Hole. He was flexible as we stopped at the Jackson Lake Lodge and the Visitor's Centre for more amazing photos. We saw elk, moose, bison, a crane, and even a couple of chipmunks! We did not come across any bears, but he was well knowledgeable of their travel behaviors! Went off the beaten path for a number of our sights, so we didn't feel like we were following the crowds at all. What an amazing way to see Jackson Hole!

We just returned from an amazing trip to Jackson Hole where we made side trips to Teton National Park and Yellowstone. It was still early in the season so the Southern Gate to Yellowstone was not open so we had to go to the Eastern gate through Idaho. A lot of the ground was still covered in snow and we were limited to the lower loop, but even at that there was still a vast amount of ground to cover. We saw herds of buffalo and my real treat was seeing a couple of calves in the herd. It was my first time seeing these animals so I was in awe. We also saw coyotes, ravens an owl. Now the sites did not disappoint. Yellowstone lake was frozen over, but the lower falls was in full flow, and roared into the canyon below. Old Faithful performed on time and the thermal pools were so colorful. We were there for just a day so it was only taste of what the park has to offer and it’s enough for us to want to definitely return. On our return to Jackson Hole we saw some moose, and we saw a wolf in Grand Teton a day earlier which we did on our own. Our trip to Yellowstone was done through Wild Wyoming. When I first started researching I didn’t see a review of this tour company so I was a bit apprehensive at first. But they offered the trip that I wanted so I decided to book it. They are a first rate operator – small and personalized. Scott picked us up at our hotel around 6:30 a.m. and we headed out, where we made a first stop to get some breakfast – the tour comes with a continental breakfast, snacks, water, a picnic lunch and use of binoculars. Plus he’s an avid photographer and knows the places to get the great shots. I think if you have limited time this is the way to go and I would highly recommend this operator. They are professionals!
