We will begin at our shop in North Asheville as the sun gets low in the sky. After we take some time to get custom sized and aquatinted with the e bikes we will set out on our ride up the beautiful mountains that surround Asheville. We will climb up to a breathtaking overlook where we will stop for some refreshments as the light grows long in the Asheville valley down below. During this time of day, much of the wildlife in Asheville is the most active, and we will be sure to take our time enjoying any of the diverse critters who may cross our path during our ride. After stopping by the historic Grove Park Inn, we will conclude our trip back at our shop for a beer or non alcoholic beverage on us.

This was a fantastic ride! The views are amazing and our guide Spencer was informative and engaging. The E Bikes made the trip up the mountain doable, even at 50 something and ending the ride at the Grove Park Inn with a nice glass of wine topped it off perfectly. We both greatly enjoyed the trip!

This was a blast! We had booked the kayak trip with this outfitter the same day and it was awesome too! This was our first time on an electric bike and Spencer easily explained how to operate it. I was pretty nervous but had a blast once we got going. It did take me a bit to figure out the gear changing. He lets you try it out in the parking lot first to get yourself familiar. Nice equipment, Very clean. Spencer said to go as fast or slow as we were comfortable with. We were in with another party and they were much younger than us. So we stayed in the back to let them go first. And wow they went very fast downhill! A couple points we were separated from the pack which was a little tricky since they're so many turns. But just as we would start to panic not knowing which way to turn here came Spencer looking for us. Whew! I'm not sure what could be changed with that....I know they want everyone to enjoy themselves and go the speed they want, so that's got to be tough. Maybe 2 guides would be more helpful....one for the front and one that stays in the back. We felt a little "rushed" and it would be nice to have been able to go a little slower to take in the gorgeous surrounding. But, being a sunset tour I know it's tricky not to be out at night! Thankfully, Spencer did make several stops checking on everyone. We really enjoyed the sunset from the Grove Park Inn then the short 7 min ride back down the mountain to the outpost. Again, the gals went too fast for us to keep up, so Spencer had to come find us again. We weren't slow at all, but they were just VERY fast! Our watch gps showed just under a 9 mile loop with speeds close to 30mph. If you're not in pretty decent shape, this might be too challenging for you. Wear your padded bike shorts for sure & bring a backpack/waistpack or something to strap onto the bike for water. All in all we enjoyed ourselves and would go again!

My boyfriend, Norm, and I thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Asheville this past week! Prior to our visit, we did a ton of research to learn about all of the activities and must do/see in the area. We came across Asheville Adventure Company. After doing our own research, we called and spoke with Devin to learn about our different options. He was extremely friendly and knowledgable and, after speaking with him, we decided to sign up for both the Sunset E-Bike Tour and the Scenic French Broad Whitewater Paddle. The day leading up to both of the tours, we received reminder emails that were very helpful to know what to pack and where to meet. But, the best part was the personalized text the day of both of the tours. It's a great touch and makes you feel as though you are friends before you even meet. The E-Bike tour was amazing! Jared was our guide and he was super friendly, knowledgable, and fun! We saw a mama bear and two cubs on our bike ride along with some absolutely incredible views. The ride even included a drink at the Grove Park Inn while overlooking the sunset. A perfect end to our first day. The Paddle tour was a blast! Ryan and Eleanor were our guides. They were both extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and super positive. We did the 5pm trip, and we could not have asked for a more perfect day with incredible weather. At the end, they had drinks waiting for us. If you are planning to visit Asheville, doing one of the tours through this company is a must! We look forward to doing another tour with this awesome team when we are back in town.
