So many options to keep the kiddos engaged and the adults interested. You can buy a "backstage" pass, for a behind the scenes package. Lots of photo opportunities. A bit pricey but, sometimes you can find a coupon.

Great for smaller children. Older kids not so much I guess. Over the years it has changed so much for the worse. Now more about making money than providing family entertainment. Staff is dry and there for a paycheck. Definitely for the kiddos to enjoy though.

We arrived about 15 minutes before this attraction opened during the week and had a very short wait in line. After the gates are opened, you go downstairs and pay, then they take your picture, several different poses. Then you are on your own through the exhibit. There is plenty for kids of any age to see and do, and a "scavenger hunt" for them with some type of prize if they collect all the stamps. I really enjoyed the incredible walk-through portion of the aquarium, where fish and sea creatures are to your left, right, and overhead, swimming above you. This is all self-paced, which I also appreciate. I wasn't rushed to get out. The following rooms are also cool, with numerous individual tanks containing one or two species, such as several different types of seahorses. At the end there is also an interactive pool filled with stingrays and you can purchase shrimp to feed them. Don't miss the final display, filled with an amazing array of sea anemones that you are allowed to pet - the colors!
