I write this review from a space of love and hope it serves to help for future visits. From the description I was under the impression that’d we’d visit 2 vortexes for 2.5 hours.
We’re grateful they squeezed us in and practically gave us a private tour since it was only us two in the group. We stayed in Flagstaff and believed Google maps when it said it was a 45-minute drive. It was actually an hour drive.
Check-in was at 8:45 with tour starting at 9:00. We arrived at 9:02 and did not call to let them know we were going to be late. We apologized profusely and let them know we’d tip well to make up for our tardiness. We accept all responsibility and were thankful they continued with the tour.
When we arrived, we sat in the center for an hour listening to the tour guide explain the chakras.
I was most excited about visiting the vortexes and receiving our chakra readings. When we didn’t get the chakra readings at the center, I thought maybe it’d be after the hike.
We visited the stupa, medicine wheel, and masculine vortex for an hour.
Then we were told we’d be sent to a secret place for the feminine vortex because we were out of time. This was supposed to be the second vortex we visited on the tour.
We went back to the center to get our car. I thought we’d get our chakra reading then, but we didn’t: instead we were gifted a guided meditation. We picked a crystal as a gift and went off to finish the tour on our own.
We paid the entry fee and realized it was not a secret place when cars of tours pulled up behind us. We also google the secret location and found there are several tours to this vortex. We were only allowed to be there 30 minutes.
Total time we spent at 1 vortex (not 2) was an hour not 2.5 hours, and we did not receive the chakra reading.
Perhaps limiting the explanation time of chakras at the center or asking whether guests want to be at the vortexes or continue learning more about chakras would help.
We didn’t realize how unhappy we were with the tour until we started processing the day and it registered we had not received all we had signed up for.
As an empath and healer myself, I am a firm believer in energy exchange and express gratitude to those I encounter in the healing world.
I won’t talk negatively about the tour guide or company and am sharing this in hopes that it helps future tours.
