If your latin, middle eastern or black, don’t even think about booking Jeff from Across Arizona Tours. He is so condescending and RACIST. 5 mins within meeting us asked us where we were “actually from” and hoped that “we weren’t thinking of staying.” The funniest part is that we are two big city gals originally from Toronto, Canada and appreciate our big city alot more than the vast wasteland of Phoenix and neighboring areas. Theres nothing to do incomparison and the tour was a huge money grab. You have zero time to actually hike up the trails at the vortex of sedona. Your longest time spent is at the souvenir shops and even that isn’t long. Max 20mins in each spot. They spent more time driving us than sightseeing. Your better off driving yourself!!! The best part was when I confronted Carole Stapleton about the racist remarks she played stupid and gaslit us about what actually transpired. I normally don’t write reviews but he was atrocious. NEVER AGAIN!

Thank you for your review. As we have already communicated with you on this matter, this review is not complete. You have not mentioned that you tried to get a refund for this tour, threatening us with retribution if we didn't give you a refund. We do not take kindly to threats. We have never hired a guide that is racist, and the guide you had is not racist. He was merely asking if the hotel we picked you up from was where you were staying. As a courtesy to you, if you were not staying there, he would have tried to take you back to where you were staying instead. This was kind of him, not racist. Hiking and visiting vortices are not mentioned on our tour description. Why you thought you could hike is a mystery to us. We are sorry you didn't enjoy this tour. It seems like you were just looking for money back by attacking the tour guide. Perhaps you will want to skip any tours with any tour company in the future. Touring seems wrong for you.
