All kayakers must be capable swimmers in case of emergency.

Subject to favorable weather conditions. 100% refund if cancellation prior to 24 hours before start of tour. If we cancel your tour due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date or full refund. We do not cancel for light rain unless temperatures are less than 60*, and in that case you will be given the option of rescheduling or cancelling or doing the tour at the scheduled time if you choose.
You may bring water and snacks, if desired. We definitely recommend sunblock! You may also want to bring a change of clothes or wear swimwear.
Kayakers must be willing to step in approximately six inches of water to enter and exit the kayak.
Recommended for ages 4 years old and up. Children under 12 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult.

My girlfriend and I recently went on a tour with 'Amelia island adventures' and it was extremely pleasurable. When we arrived at the dock, we were quite late but we were warmly greeted by a friendly and helpful lady. We were instructed on how to exercise caution and were provided with all the necessary equipment. Were were advised on where to go and what wildlife to look out for. We would definitely recommend.

My husband and I did a self-guided tour this morning and enjoyed the experience. Shari met us at boat launch with the kayaks and shortly after that we were on our way up stream. When we returned to the boat launch 2 hours later, Shari was there to meet us and gave us ideas of other adventures to do in the area which was much appreciated! Overall the experience was great and we recommend this kayak tour.
