Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias
Our first stop is Mariposa Grove! Located in the southern portion of Yosemite, the Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias is the largest sequoia grove in Yosemite and is home to over 500 mature giant sequoias. We'll park and take the shuttle up to the arrival area where will complete the Big Trees Loop Trail. This trail is rated easy. Begin at Mariposa Grove Arrival Area. Winding through a forest with many giant sequoias, this trail features the Fallen Monarch and interpretive panels on the life and ecology of giant sequoias. This loop is relatively flat and is wheelchair accessible.

Time to whip out your cameras, the next stop is Tunnel View! Tunnel view provides one of the most famous views of Yosemite Valley. From here you can see El Capitan and Bridalveil Fall rising from Yosemite Valley, with Half Dome in the background.

Lower Yosemite Fall Trail
art of North America's tallest waterfall, Lower Yosemite Fall is the final 320-foot (98-meter) drop. Deafening in spring and early summer when the waterfall peaks in volume, you can expect to get sprayed with water when standing on the footbridge near its base. This short, easy walk rewards with spectacular views of both Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls. This paved loop trail offers different vantage points of Yosemite Falls and Yosemite Creek, and you can stop at the many exhibits to learn more about the natural and cultural history of the area.

In Yosemite Valley, El Capitan Meadow provides a view straight up El Capitan and a great view of Cathedral Rocks, as well. Located along one-way Northside Drive, we'll stop here on our way out.

Mariposa Grove de séquoias géants
Notre premier arrêt est Mariposa Grove ! Situé dans la partie sud de Yosemite, le Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias est le plus grand bosquet de séquoias de Yosemite et abrite plus de 500 séquoias géants matures. Nous nous garerons et prendrons la navette jusqu'à la zone d'arrivée où se terminera le Big Trees Loop Trail. Ce sentier est classé facile. Commencez à la zone d'arrivée de Mariposa Grove. Serpentant à travers une forêt avec de nombreux séquoias géants, ce sentier présente le Fallen Monarch et des panneaux d'interprétation sur la vie et l'écologie des séquoias géants. Cette boucle est relativement plate et accessible aux fauteuils roulants.

Vue du tunnel
Il est temps de sortir vos caméras, le prochain arrêt est Tunnel View ! La vue sur le tunnel offre l'une des vues les plus célèbres de la vallée de Yosemite. De là, vous pouvez voir El Capitan et Bridalveil Fall s'élever de la vallée de Yosemite, avec Half Dome en arrière-plan.

Sentier d'automne inférieur de Yosemite
Art de la plus haute chute d'eau d'Amérique du Nord, Lower Yosemite Fall est la dernière chute de 320 pieds (98 mètres). Assourdissant au printemps et au début de l'été lorsque la cascade culmine en volume, vous pouvez vous attendre à être aspergé d'eau lorsque vous vous tenez sur la passerelle près de sa base. Cette promenade courte et facile est récompensée par des vues spectaculaires sur les chutes Upper et Lower Yosemite. Ce sentier en boucle pavé offre différents points de vue sur les chutes de Yosemite et le ruisseau Yosemite, et vous pouvez vous arrêter aux nombreuses expositions pour en savoir plus sur l'histoire naturelle et culturelle de la région.
