Had a great time. It turned out to be just my husband and I in the group. Because we don’t like sweet wines, Gary, our guide, changes our last winery to something we would enjoy more

What was listed on the trip itinerary was different than the tour we experienced - had the description been accurate our rating would be different. We selected the tour with lunch and it was supposed to be our second stop, so we ate a later breakfast thinking we would eat lunch around noon. The winery with lunch turned out to the be first stop at 10:30 am (and the kitchen wasn't even ready for us yet). We were not hungry so we had our lunch packed to go and ended up tossing it because it wasn't good after the tour. FYI - I would not recommend anyone pick the tour with lunch - it was an extra $60 per person and it was a turkey panini with potato chips, salad and a glass of wine. The next winery was not listed on the itinerary at all and we were poured a flight of wine by a 20 year old who didn't give us any insight into the wine and we sat outside sipping it while they mowed the grass right next to us. Anthony Road Wine was by far our favorite and it was a very lovely spot with fantastic wine. Our final stop had a list of "redneck wines" which were all a little too sweet. Our driver Donna was very friendly and was willing to take us to the winery that was listed on the tour description that was left off the actual tour. The other couple on our tour said they booked directly through the company website and everything was as-described, so the problem may be that the tour company needs to update their Trip Advisor description.

Hello Julie H. Thanks for leaving us a review. I am sorry to hear that you did not enjoy yourself on the day. As for the list of wineries on the Viator/ trip advisor page, they are listed in no particular order. In fact at times Viator/ trip advisor have changed our listing, without us knowing, they made small adjustments to improve our listing. Our first stop at Ventosa is scheduled at 10:15 with lunch following at 11:00 am as that is when the café opens, lunchtime. It also states in the additional info “specific wineries subject to change”. As for the wineries, we try to stop at wineries that offer sweet wine for sweet wine drinkers and stops that have dry wine for dry wine drinkers. We like to have a little of everything as everyone has different pallets. I am glad you enjoyed our drivers’ company as all of our drivers do a great job of making their customers happy within our guidelines. We hope to see you again in the future. Thanks for your time in letting us know how we can improve.

This was not worth the money. The driver gave us no direction when we arrived at wineries was more interested in socializing with her friends that worked there. The wineries that were on the list were honestly not that great - we visited much better vineyards on our own. I would recommend doing your own vineyard tour. We basically payed $200 dollars for a driver which is not worth the money in the finger lakes as all the tasting in the finger lakes are $10 dollars.

Hello Alida B. I am sorry that you feel this way. Our tours are designed and hand picked by a sommelier who visits the wineries that we choose to bring guests to. We feel that it is important for our drivers to stay connected and have good relationships with the wineries and their staff. The $10 tasting fees you are referring to is a very low cost as most wineries are more costly. The price you pay does not just reflect on the tasting fees. There are many more costs other than that. Lastly we provide you, your guests, and other patrons a safe transportation to and from all the wineries and lodging. That should be priceless!
