We highly recommend the children’s hike with A Walk in the Woods! My 3 and 5 year old learned a ton, and had so much fun. Our guide Megan took us on a hike perfect for my preschoolers but also fun and informative for the adults in the family. W caught salamanders and found evidence of bears that we never would have noticed without Megan pointing it out. This was definitely a highlight of our trip!

Sam, our guide was wonderful with the 2 children as well as the adults. We had a nice hike at a pace that allowed us to experience all aspects of nature. Some of the highlights were feet in the creek, walking on bridges, salamander hunting, the last of the trilliums, chewing on a birch twig, seeing where settlers kept their milk and butter.... the girls were quoting Sam at dinner that evening!

Thank you, Michael!! We went with our 3, 4, and 6-year old children and were nervous that they wouldn't be able to keep up (even though the tour was geared towards children). Michael was so patient, helpful, and informative. It was my husband's favorite part of our trip, and my children all loved walking through the mountains! They got to facepaint with the rocks and jump over rivers through the rocks. Thank you for a wonderful time!!!
