Our family did the Shark Cage Dive with Haleiwa Shark Tours at North Shore. This was a cool experience. We went early in the morning around 7am and the waters felt really good around 78 degrees. It was very beautiful being surrounded by these huge sharks. It was about 11 total and it was breathtaking.

Loved getting up close with those beautiful creatures. There were many 7-8ft sharks swimming within an arms length of the cage! Crew was casual, but professional. We felt safe while in the cage. Do note that the waves are bigger out over the deep water, even on calm days. Our teen son, who does not usually get sea sick, felt nauseous after his turn in the water. I gave him some Bonine to try and help, but he immediately had a severe dystonic reaction. We were unsure of how serious his condition was so we treated it as a medical emergency and the crew had us back at the marina very quickly with medical services waiting for us. He ended up being fine, but I post this as a warning to others whom might want to use that specific medication in the future. Test it out ahead of time! My wife and I both took it the night before and were fine. Overall, we loved the experience, even our son! Big mahalo to the crew for being responsive and professional!

Amazing experience! Me and my pal ( we're italian ) enjoyed every moment of it! Everything was smooth and easy from the beginning: booking process, indications and trip to location, welcome at the pier... Everyone was very attentive in any aspect..our crew was all ladies one and they're so professional in explaining and introducing any step of the experience.... you always feel safe so no need to worry about the boat or the cage, all is checked with care.... After 15/20 minutes ride you reach the spot and they are there like your pets waiting for you! But they're so many and real big! I don't want to ruin the surprise so I stop here about sharks but I'm sure you'll be satisfied!!! A special thank to Chiara ( professional photographer), she's there out of cage to take pictures and videos of your experience if you choose to...What I can say more..I'd like to be there to do it again and again..
