Very fun and unique! Great tour guides, made me feel comfortable on the water but also gave me enough space to explore on my own when I wanted to. Overall great time.

I just had one of the most memorable excursions ever - without having to go around the globe to find it. My friend and I took a kayak ride at night! Seems like a crazy idea, but it was very cool. We called Sharkeys glass bottom tours and scheduled with Dave (the owner) to take an LED illuminated kayak trip at 830 pm. That's right at night! All we could imagine was Jaws, and scary creatures, but we ventured on. We met Dave and Bob (the other guide) at a pre determined state park location (kind of odd but the reviews are great, so off we went). There were four other kayakers with us and everyone had already had a couple of drinks so we knew this might be a fun night. Dave showed us how kayaks worked, gave us the plans for the night and off we went - oh my, all the kayaks lit up like a Christmas tree in the water. Greens, pinks, yellow, and more - the clear water lit up everywhere. Sharkeys apparently chums the water to feed the fish and encourage the sea life. Fish could be seen through the glass bottom kayaks everywhere. Our group was the hit from the local bars over looking our lighted kayak group. We spent about 90 minutes paddling around the area before turning back to our starting spot. Great fun for an evening activity. Well worth the money (around 50 bucks). Had a great time and will definitely have to try this one again with a big group of friends.
