Night Shift Brewing
A nocturnal nano brewery and taproom in Everett, Massachusetts, only a stone’s throw from Boston proper, Night Shift Brewing is known around town for their ‘avant-garde’ (that’s French for totally off-the-wall) brewing style with ingredients you’ve probably never thought to put in a beer. Luckily, they did!
2
Dorchester Brewing Company
All locations are subject to change and these are sample Itineraries only. Boasting one of the first grain silos built in Dorchester, MA in over a hundred years, the Dorchester Brewing Company opened its doors in 2016. Producing both its own craft beers and those of several partner breweries, Dorchester Brewing Company is a place that is always brewing! DBCo. brews its own well-crafted house beers alongside local brewing partners and regional collaborators and puts them all on the shiny new 20-tap system in the beautifully refinished taproom. Dorchester Brewing Company houses some of the most state-of-the-art brewing equipment in its large brewing space including high-speed canning and bottling machines and a massive energy-efficient cooler in the back for fresh beer storage

Had a fantastic time on the Boston Brew Tours. Max was the leader of our troop and he definitely took care of us! We had a blast bar and brewery hopping and enjoying different types of craft beers and amazing pizza! Max joked around with us, and was very knowledgeable on the different types of craft beers we were drinking. I can't wait to go back.

This weekend our kids (21&24) took us on the Boston brew tours. Max was our guide and we went to four breweries. We started at Harpoon and got a great tour. I personally don't like beer (I went to be with my family) but between our guide Max and my daughter, I actually found two Harpoon beers I liked! There are two Harpoon "beer captains" who took our group on the tour which ends with a 15 "all you can taste " beer tasting. The beer captains were very knowledgeable and nice. I really learned a lot. Max was a true beer geek! He knows more about beer, it's production, consumption, history, etc than anyone I've ever met, and he was exceptionally nice-thanks Max. The tour continued to Mead Hall in Cambridge , where we had a great sampler plate of food ( more than I could eat) a full size glass of beer and a tour of the place. Then on the Everette to the Idle Hands and Night Shift breweries. At Idle Hands, we were given the tour and tasting by its impressive founder, Jeff. It's a very impressive story of how he started and how much they've grown in just a few years. Oh and the beer was great too! Finally Night Shift was a very different brewery. No tour to speak of but they do some really fun/different things they mix in beer. I didn't love any of their beers but they were fun to try and they had a Hugh crowd there so they must be doing something right. All in all it was a great day and I would highly recommend it.

Right from the start there was never a dull moment. We started off being picked up by Eli and was on our way to Harpoon Brewing Co. He pointed out the various historical points of Boston and places to see while we were in town. The group we were along with were all about a good time and kept the mood of the tour on a positive note. The tour of the brewery was amazing and the 12 beers we sampled topped it of. Chad had the unfortunate pleasure of taking over a energized group ready to test his limits for the remainder of the tour and handled it perfectly. The tour was filled with great information in regards to beer enthusiasts or anyone interested in the beer making process and the different beer types & food along the way (pizza and more beer in area 4) were very tasty and hit the spot. You go to Boston you must to do this tour. To the guys from Vermont... a good time was had, good luck to the bachelor and watch out for the van door hitting the trees planted too close to the street!!
