We booked this tour several months ago that started in Skagway and was supposed involve dog sledding and interact with the dogs. Several hours before the tour start time we got notice that they were canceling the dog portion of the tour due to restrictions getting into Canada due to COVID and offered to move us to just the bus tour in Skagway and refund a portion of the costs. We knew that Canada was closed but did not know the dogs were in Canada. The issue is that they had to know that getting into Canada was not allowed since that is common knowledge yet waited until it was too late for us to book an excursion on the cruise ship to tell us of the change in the tour. This in my opinion is deceptive and one could interpret that they did it hoping that we would agree to the change since it was too late to book anything else. Horrible way to run a business and I will never recommend this tour company to anyone.

This is an incorrect review. Your travel agent was supposed to notify you of the change to the Canadian Border. They were supposed to cancel or change your tour. When we got your manifest we saw this had not happened so we offered to refund you or change your tour. We did this out of a gesture of good will. We were trying to make lemonade out of lemons for you. At Southeast Tours, our pledge is to always give our passengers the best customer service. We request that you remove this one star review and direct it toward the appropriate party. Thank you.

Our driver Denis was amazing. He talked the whole 6 hours. Everything he said was interesting and/or fun whether it was about the scenery, legend or personal experience of the area. The scenery is wonderful. Thoroughly enjoyed the dog sled ride and learning about the Iditirod race. Shame the ride wasn't actually on snow but this is the summer training camp and the next best thing. What a day!

We had quite a bit of drama with this trip. If you are booking with this company, call and verify everything with the owner prior to arrival. We were concerned about the trip time and the all aboard cruise time being too close. We called and got the answer from a worker that we are on the earlier tour time, which would work for us timewise. Upon arrival at dock, we were told that it was not the case and that we are on the later trip, and to call the office. We did so again and the lady was not concerned about the timing of the trip versus ship's departure and told us to come 15 minutes before trip start. Good thing we came early and ran into the owner who told us there is no way we would make our ship and yelled in front of us at the lady working there. Not a great start. The owner was able to modify our trip to a smaller bus with a slightly different itinerary making us feel a lot more comfortable. We were thankful as missing the ship would have been worse. Then we realized how we lucked out - Marv who was leading the tour was an amazing source of information, and it was clear that he really loves the territories which he was showing us. We got to interact with the sled dogs at Michelle Phillips' camp, see Yukon trail, see amazingly beautiful scenery. Finally, we forgot out passports in the tour bus, and we were so thankful to Marv who found them and brought the back to the ship in time. Five stars to the tour and to Marv as a guide! One star for the rest of the staff working there who seem to have no clue what is going on other than the owner
