One hour northwest of Atlanta, this locally-owned farm is a great activity for individuals and families looking for an experience outside of the city. Tour the property with Liz, learn what it's like to raise alpacas and goats, and come away with a thoughtful answer to all questions related to alpacas and goats! Upon arrival, you and your party will receive a brief 20-30 minute history and educational segment in the barn before moving on to our "VET room" to understand the husbandry involved in keeping a healthy herd.  Learn the specifics on how to hand feed the alpacas then go out to meet the herd! Take selfies, pose with the alpacas and, of course, hand feed them as you pet and touch the fabulous fleece that is made into so many wonderful, wearable products! After visiting with our alpaca herd we visit the Alpine and Nubian dairy goats.  Finally, on to everyone's favorite: the Myotonic Goats, commonly known as "Fainting Goats". The tour concludes where it begins in the farm store.

The tour was very fun and informative! Definitely recommended for animal lovers, especially those with a soft spot for alpacas and goats. I learned so much about alpacas and goats that I couldn't wait to tell my friends about the trip.
