This is another great attraction here in Biloxi! Lots of history to learn and view. Even if you don't like tours, this one has a short 30 minute presentation and then you get to do the rest on your own.

My visit to Beauvoir was a wonderful experience. Our tour guide took us around in a golf cart and she thoroughly explained the history of Beauvoir. I found the story of " Polly the Mule" very touching. Also, the graves of the long deceased Confederate soldiers was very somber. Finally, I learned a lot more about Jefferson Davis and I have a much better understanding of the South's perspective on the Civil War. I would highly recommend a visit to Beauvoir, as history needs to be respected and understood, and not white-washed by hysterical hypochondriacs of history.
