Excursion en kayak clair en petit groupe à Shell Key

Aperçu
We've created a fascinating kayak tour in St Pete, centered on our Crystal Clear kayaks, giving you a fascinating look at the sea life throughout Shell Key preserve, and Fort Desoto park. Our professional guides provide an interesting narration of the local wildlife and ecosystem. The tours can range from 2 persons to 16 people, and are approximately 2 to 2 -1/2  hours long.  The tours will primarily operate in the protected waters and mangroves tunnels of the Shell Key Wildlife Preserve in Pinellas County. An 1,800 acre preserve, these waters are well traveled by Dolphins, Manatees, Rays, as well as a variety of shore birds, including pelicans, egrets, herons, cormorants, osprey, and sometimes roseate spoonbills.

Overall very nice tour & our guide was knowledgeable & super nice. Going through the mangroves was a neat experience. The clear kayaks are a bit hard to maneuver compared to normal kayaks. The website stated possible sightings of dolphins and/or manatees but the area of the tour is way too shallow for that to happen so that was misleading.

It's apparent you know nothing about our wildlife Jeff. Nor do you know anything about the nature preserve that we kayak through. You certainly know how to be arrogant however, so I guess that's something. We come across dolphins in the preserve quite often as they enjoy chasing the mullet, redfish, and snook in the preserve. Also the manatees, that come to feed on the seagrass beds in the preserve. There are plenty of photos demonstrating just that. There is nothing misleading about our website. I can't say the same about your review.

Alivia and Justice were fantastic guides who knew the area very well and shared several historical factoids, making this kayak trip so interesting! Seeing a dolphin, several fish, crabs and cormorants swimming by - and under - us was wonderful fun. Highly recommend this to anyone who loves water and wildlife.
