This tour combines two of Southern Utah's most popular activities: exploring scenic slot canyons and horseback riding. You will not find any tour in Southern Utah that allows visitors to experience both of these exciting activities at the same time!

Zion National Park is famous for it's beautiful Slot Canyons. Photographers and travelers are constantly on the search for these incredible land formations. This backcountry canyon is free from the crowds of Zion, but offers the same beauty. And guests get to experience on horseback!

We had booked another tour, The Aztec Trail, but something turned out to have gone wrong with the booking. After talking to an employee, we were offered the White Mountains as an alternative. And we're glad we did this! Amy and Trev were really super nice. They knew a lot about the environment, were interested in the group and made everyone feel comfortable. We have never ridden horses, but the horses were really quiet and fine. They've done this several times and you noticed. We would definitely recommend this to anyone going to Zion!

The activity starts in Orderville and takes place outside Zion NP. A lot of attention is paid to the technique of horse riding and the two guides were very patient. This makes the activity also suitable for beginners. The landscape is very beautiful and a slot canyon is visited halfway through the ride. Don't expect Antelope Canyon, but it's definitely worth it. The only downside is that the activity is quite short.

Our two-hour riding event was great because the guides Margeret and Trev made a lot of effort to give us a safe, exciting and very informative experience: The allocation of the horses before riding and the instruction on the horse were very professional - the instructions during riding were also always clear and helpful. I even found the explanations about the fauna and flora, but also the geological formation of the Zion Mountains super exciting. The view of the varied, winding trail, which went up and down, mostly through ponderosa pines, was unique! The horses are well trained and very calm! Two hours in the western saddle are quite strenuous for non-riders' backs and knees. Many thanks again to our great guides and the horses!
