Excursion écologique en canoë-kayak et à pied dans les Everglades en petit groupe

Aperçu
We are the "Quiet Alternative to an Airboat Ride". A boating, kayaking and walking tour in Everglades National Park. Our most popular tour!
Park at our shop, a local historic building.
With your Florida Master Naturalist Guide, you will take a short golf cart ride to your boat.
On the boat, while searching for dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, rosette spoonbills, herons, egrets, ospreys, eagles and shore birds, learn about the Everglades different ecosystems, its long history and rich culture.
At 1st sheltered destination, we will deploy very stable kayaks. The stealth of the kayak allows you to get close to the flora and fauna.
Our next destination is an uninhabited barrier island beach where you will be led on a leisurely, hands-on walking tour. Expect to see more seashells than you ever have.
After the walk, we are back in the kayaks, then the boat, then the golf cart and back to home base

Note: June through October, we suggest the morning experiences due to the weather.

We had a wonderful time with Don (guide) and Ray (boat driver). Don was so informative and managed to find all sorts of shells, and wildlife. Perhaps we could have spent a little more time in the Kayaks. We would definitely go again.

I had such an amazing time. Chris, our guide, was so passionate and knowledgeable. He took time to point out as much as he could and was happy to answer any questions we had. I could tell his love of the Everglades stemmed far beyond being a tour guide. He was so excited to share his amazement of this unique ecosystem it was hard not to be excited as well.

We had such a fantastic time on this tour! Captain Dan was incredibly knowledgeable, as a Florida Master Naturalist he was able to tell us all about the wildlife we encountered, including the pods of dolphin that played in the waves from the boat. He also had extensive knowledge of the Calusa Indian tribe and the archaeological history of Chokoloskee, as well as stellar command of the boat. We left with a new appreciation for the Everglades and the rich history still inhabiting the beaches and waterways. We can’t wait to return and bring our friends. We will book Captain Dan again for sure! So much more to explore and learn. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
