Our owner-operated tours specialize in small group family-oriented excursions!!

Our locally owned operation runs maximum 6 passenger vessels, ensuring as private of an experience possible for you and your loved ones! Our tour guides have countless years of experience working in the water with guests of all ages around the world and specialize in family oriented groups to give you the highest quality experience swimming with these wild manatees! As a small operating tour company our guides are able to work closely one on one with you to ensure a fun stress free experience that you deserve. If your group is smaller, you can rent out the whole boat to ensure that you have a more private experience!

As a small, locally-owned company, quality is everything to us and our seasoned crew will make sure that you and your family have the best experience possible with us!

All necessary gear is included with the tour, so all you have to do is arrive ready for an incredible adventure!

Our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. They spotted the manatees right away. We got to swim with them for a long time and then got to see some crystal clear springs. Also the photos came out great. It was a really good time!

Are you feeling overwhelmed by the sheer number of choices for manatee tours? Well, look no further; Nature’s Discovery Manatee Tours is top notch. Our boat captain, Dylan, was super knowledgeable about manatees and the local flora and fauna and found manatees within minutes of leaving the dock. And, he magically, and safely, kept the boat nearby, seemingly without making any noise and without spooking the manatees. Our water guide, Dylan, was great too. He guided us through the canals and kept us on pace to float and swim with a mama and calf (with an occasional visit from a 3rd manatee) for nearly 2 hours; snapping photos of us and the manatees along the way. And, since we were the first boat on the manatees, early in the morning, we had them all to ourselves for the first hour. I can’t say enough good things about this tour operator. Everything went smoothly, Dylan and Jaden were easy going, efficient, knowledgeable, and professional; and, clearly, they have great manatee karma!! If you are concerned that you won’t see manatees this time of year, don’t worry; these guys will find the gentle giants for you. If possible, book the first tour of the day. The water will be clearer, the manatees move slower in the morning (before the water warms up), and you won’t have to share the manatees with 500 other swimmers and kayakers!

Definitely a must do experience if you are anywhere near Crystal River! We swam with 5 different manatees including a baby! Hina did a great job helping us find and stay with them- be prepared to swim, manatees are faster than they look!
