Join us on a full-day, small-group wine tour of the Spectacular North Sonoma County wine country! You’ll visit three charming, back roads wineries and be served a picnic lunch in an idyllic winery setting. Your tour guide will tell fascinating stories and share many interesting tidbits about local history, culture and wine making. Our specialty is intimate, light hearted and truly memorable experiences. Once the tour concludes, you will be dropped off from where you were picked up. The tour typically has 8-12 guests on board.

Your tour will begin with pickup from your Sonoma County hotel. Depending on where you are staying will define the tour region that you will be visiting. If your accommodations are outside of the winery region, you can arrange to meet us a general meeting spot in either Healdsburg or Santa Rosa. Tour visits 3 wineries that change daily.

My first time in CA wine country, Loved it ! Platypus did an excellent job, Courtney our driver was delightful. We visited 3 vineyards as a 10 person group and everyone seemed to enjoy the experience. We spent time with the founders/owners of the first two vineyard's, Trattore Farms & Rickard’s winery, and learned a lot about the business of operating a vineyard and the making of wine. We had a nice lunch and made our way to the third and final vineyard, where we had a typical tasting and less education. We would highly recommend working with Platypus to get a full experience of California Wine Country.

It's so great to hear that your first visit to our beautiful region was so enjoyable, and that you so loved Courtney! We feel the same way about her. It is not uncommon for the winery founders and wine makers to appear and spend time with our groups during our visits, which is one of the big treats of visiting these smaller backroads wineries. Hope we'll see you again sometime soon!

Perfect day! Steven was our driver and he was knowledgeable and fun. We had the perfect mix of small family owned wineries to larger spots with an amazing view. Can’t wait to come back soon.

This was an excellent tour from start to finish. Our host Cortney was wonderful and we visited three beautiful vineyards. A special thank you to Jenna for organizing such a great trip! Fun group on board our trip.
