Our experience on our small group tour with Gary, our tour guide, was excellent! We visited 3 small, boutique wineries, each different and with their own highlights. The tasting fees were $20-$30 and each winery waived them with a 1-2 bottle purchase. The experience was personalized and really nice with only 8 of us on the tour. We had lots of time for discussion and were able to be flexible on time spent, etc. Gary was very informative, knowledgeable, funny and an excellent guide, and really made the experience what it was. Our lunch was delicious, and we were able to enjoy it in a cool and comfortable wine cave. Gary kept all of our wine purchased separate and stored for us during the tour which was very helpful. The tour bus was comfortable and had more of "limo" like seating making it more social and nice. They also had a cooler with bottled water which was very appreciated. Loved that we were picked up right by our airbnb too as an added bonus :-) It was an excellent tour and we would highly recommend it to anyone wanting a smaller, more customized, unique experience. Thanks Gary!!!

Rob was our driver. There was one other couple so there was five of us counting the driver. . He was very personable and made it a very enjoyable experience. He also was very knowledgeable regarding wines and the wineries. We loved going to Buena Vista which was the oldest winery. It was a beautiful winery and delicious wines especially the one called the Sheriff. The Ty Caton vineyards was an enjoyable wine tasting. Paul was our sommelier. He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the winery and the wines. He made the wine tasting an enjoyable experience with his stories. We would definitely want to do another tour with Rob and Platypus tours again.

This was my second time using Platypus tours and they did not disappoint. Put driver Kelly was awesome and all three wineries were great. I will definitely keep using them every tike I go back to Napa or Sonoma.
