Take a day trip from San Francisco to Yosemite National Park, described as the crown jewel of the country's many splendid national parks. You will be guided on a coach tour to highlights such as Bridalveil Falls, Tunnel View, El Capitan, and Yosemite Falls, with a stop for a 1-mile (1.6-km) walk into a grove of giant sequoias*.

Our vans only take 15 passengers, so we are able to stop at more places with less time for loading and unloading of passengers.

*weather permitting, and the hike is not recommended for people with health issues

  • The trip is accessible for most of the tour. However, at the end of the day, we go on a hike to see the giant sequoias. This is NOT advised for people with back, heart or knee problems. It is also not wheelchair accessible. Unfortunately, this is only way to see the sequoias.
  • There is a possibility that the Giant Sequoia hike will not be available due to winter weather conditions.

The day was awesome, Yosemite Valley is truly a wonderful treasure that must be experienced. Kurt was great, communicated clearly and effectively letting us know what was going especially when it looked like we might have to cancel due to bad weather. However we went through with it, we were a small group of five but it worked out great. Kurt shared insightful information tips and things to look out for. He was funny and entertaining. When I left a personal belonging at one of our stops he went back to look for it. Truly went above and beyond! Book the tour, it is breathtaking and the guide is pretty neat!

This was a bucket list experience for us being from the UK and having a huge love of the US and especially wanting to experience the national parks, and it didn’t disappoint at all! We absolutely loved this tour, and somehow even with mediocre weather we managed to get amazing pics, dodge the bad rain and see all the sights from around the park. It was a long day but so worth it and went so quickly! Phil was knowledgeable about EVERYTHING from San Fran, to central valley, to the park itself and from the moment we were picked up, to the moment we got dropped off 14 hours later he was enthusiastic, full of smiles and providing lots of information (and genius playlists timed to the weather and areas which we very much enjoyed). We also appreciated the movie on the way back which helped pass the long journey home quicker and gave context to the El Capital Dawn wall we’d just witnessed. There was a slight mishap on the way there, with our first van not sounding healthy but both Phil and Brian who rescued us, handled it quickly, professionally and ensured the delay didn’t impact our experience or day. There was also an older gentleman on our trip with mobility issues, and whilst we were fit and able to experience the tour to the fullest we appreciated seeing how he was accommodated for, not excluded, and he still got to attend and see each sight in the park even if he wasn’t able to walk closer to the various landmarks, by Phil driving us as close as possible. Highly recommend and this tour is a great way to see the sights of the park in a single day, without the hassle of driving and planning yourself.

Phil will get you there and back safely and has interesting facts to share along the way, but your day will be peppered with bitchy quips about past and present guests, usually criticizing their nationality or personality quirks. Super professional... Phil, drop the attitude and learn some benevolence.
