What an awesome experience! Ellie and Alyssa were great guides and even more amazing young women. They were super accommodating, knowledgeable, fun and considerate. The snorkeling was fantastic! It was a unique experience that everyone should try. Plus, it was surprisingly not cold at all with all of the gear on. We saw beautifully colored starfish and sea cucumbers, beautiful kelp beds with precious little kelp crabs, anemone, urchins, abalone, sculpin fish and more. Don’t miss your opportunity to do something fun, unique and different. Now I can say I’ve snorkeled in Alaska. Thanks ladies for an unforgettable day and hopefully a lifelong connection.

A really wonderful experience with Selkie Snorkels-- it was a perfect adventure for a cool cloudy day when we didn't want to hike. The gear was excellent (I've had a lot of trouble fitting masks and snorkels before, but I had no issues at all with their masks--I want to buy one for myself!) and the location was friendly for beginners but also great for more experienced snorkelers and divers. Sitka Snorkels provided door-to-door service: Ellie picked us up, helped us all get the proper gear and helped us put our wetsuits on, and provided towels and changing rooms. It was great to hang out and chat with Ellie and Derek after the snorkel with a cup of hot cocoa-- truly top notch service, and such a cool experience! A Sitka must-do.

The Selkie Snorkel guides are the best. Super friendly and so fun. It would have been a blast even if it weren't for the fact that the marine biodiversity in Sitka Sound is absolutely spectacular. It's a whole other world down there that most people don't get to see! Highly recommend!
