Space Center Houston is one of Houston’s top attractions, the Official Visitor Center of NASA Johnson Space Center, Houston’s first Smithsonian Affiliate and a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence awardee. The center features more than 400 space artifacts as well as numerous permanent and traveling exhibits, attractions and theaters related to the exciting future and remarkable past of America’s human space-flight program – all for one admission price.

Space Center Houston, from the history to the future on display, was nothing short of amazing. My whole family was in awe.

Definitely one to visit if you are in the area. We got tickets on line which worked well. We could not book tram tours until we were on site. Worth doing this as soon as you arrive. Alas the control room was not open on the day we went but your to the training facility very good. Must recommend the salad bar in the restaurant - you choose items to make your own salads up which they do fresh for you - it was delicious!

Quite a bit to see but be sure to get there earlier in the day if you want to get tickets to the tram tours. It was interesting and fun for my family (teen and young adult daughters, as well as my husband and myself). They do charge for parking and the line to get in through security was a bit long. Overall, good experience and fair ticket prices.
