The Space Needle is iconic and a must if you want to a top view of Seattle. Chihuly Garden and Glass is just steps away from the Space Needle and is spectacular. The glassworks are unbelievable and so colorful. We were there during tulip season and the tulips were the size of red wine goblets. The variety and colors were absolutely beautiful and so well placed throughout. It was like a miniature Butchart Garden right in Seattle. Chihuly is a definite MUST SEE.
The Chihuly Garden was absolutely beautiful. The Space needle is awesome too. Such a marvel.
Here's my tip-YOU MUST GET AN ENTRY TIME TO THE NEEDLE WHICH IS OFTEN 5 HOURS AFTER YOU SHOW UP. And you cannot get it without being at the box office. We wasted our money since we were leaving town and couldn't wait 5 hours to go up in the Needle. On the other hand, Chihuly didn't require a time and we easily walked over, they scanned our on-line printed ticket was surprised there wasn't a mobile alternative and we the enjoyed the exhibit. We also ate at the cafe inside Chihuly and the burger's were delicious!
