Travel into the protected waters of Resurrection Bay in search of gray whale on their annual migration through Alaskan waters on this 4-hour excursion. Gray whales migrate over 5,000 miles from Baja to the Bering and Chukchi Seas each year in search of food. They begin their migration north in late February and travel through Alaskan waters in the spring. In addition to gray whales, watch for humpback whales, orca, Steller sea lions, sea otters, Dall's porpoises, harbor seals, bald eagles, and many other types of marine birds.

Local Alaskans, this is always a great cruise in the spring. We thoroughly enjoyed the crew in a relaxing day on the bay. We always love the wildlife. It is something we recommend to all of our visiting guests.

We got to see allot of marine wildlife. Several whales. Captain and crew was absolutely wonderful on the Spirit of Matushka

The captain yelled at my son (4) for touching the bell on the top deck. He didn’t politely ask him not to or spare a quick sentence to let him know it’s for safety or anything, just yelled while my son cowered down confused and a little scared. It made it so my son didn’t want to go look at the animals on the deck after. We did see a lot of animals though. I just wouldn’t recommend with kids.
