Aperçu
Travel into the protected waters of Resurrection Bay in search of gray whale on their annual migration through Alaskan waters on this 4-hour excursion. Gray whales migrate over 5,000 miles from Baja to the Bering and Chukchi Seas each year in search of food. They begin their migration north in late February and travel through Alaskan waters in the spring. In addition to gray whales, watch for humpback whales, orca, Steller sea lions, sea otters, Dall's porpoises, harbor seals, bald eagles, and many other types of marine birds.

Great way to sightsee fhrough Resurrection bay. We went in the beggining on April, and saw lots of wildlife with 2 types of whales. Still pretty cold so bundle up. Such an awesome experience.

We saw about five animals. When we exited the bay to look at sea lions I vomited four times. The waves were intense and a noticeable amount of people experienced seasickness despite taking medication. The entire lower back smelled like vomit and I saw two people vomiting off the deck while I sat back there. The crew was very kind but they shouldn’t be doing this cruise in the spring with these types of waves. The last two hours of the cruise were excruciating. Do not bring elderly, children or people with mobility issue on the spring cruise. The waves were so violent that you could hardly move without being thrown across the boat for a solid hour. This trip was hell.

We had an amazing time on the spring wildlife cruise! There were so many orcas! We spent a good hour or more watching pods of orcas. The captain and crew were amazing at spotting all kinds of wildlife, including bald eagles, otters, sea lions, and porpoises. The crew was friendly, knowledgeable, and was ready to prevent/help anyone with sea sickness. The cruise was 4 hours and around the 3 hour mark, my kids (11 & 12) were starting to get a little restless. The boat was very clean, including the bathrooms. You can buy snacks onboard or bring your own. Because it is early spring, the boat wasn’t crowded, which allowed us to move around easily to different locations where animals were spotted and take lots of pictures. Overall, it was great!
