The tour was OK. Had 2 different drivers. The first one really rubbed us the wrong way, but the 2nd was better. Interesting that there is so much history in St. Augustine, but script of the tour was a little hard to follow with the going around and round past the same thing on the left, then the right, etc. The architecture is amazing. Kind of sad to see that so many of the historical sites have been turned into tourist traps. I don't mind paying an entrance fee, but they have added too much touristy kitch.

Good way to see the town and decide which activities are for you. Getting on and off was easy although in season maybe more crowded. Did a few things at on and off stops but went back to walk around on our own . Know that most things are an additional cost, only small attractions were covered, although you could get reduced rate tickets from the trolley kiosks.

This tour was the best way to see St. Augustine and to get an in-depth knowledge of the history of the area from the drivers. all of the drivers we had were very interesting and helpful. It was nice to be able to leave our car in the ample parking lot and to be able to get around all over St. Augustine learning the history, getting information on attractions, restaurants, etc. and to not have to search for or pay for parking. We were able to get our tickets (at a slight discount) from our hotel (Hampton Inn St. Augustine Beach). We liked it so much the first day that we took the tour again the next day. St. Augustine is so rich in history. We learned a lot! We also toured (on foot) the Colonial Quarter and did some shopping and dining, went to The Fountain of Youth and toured the Old Jail. We would highly recommend this tour! One thing I would mention is that if the weather is kind of cool, it will be cooler riding on the trolley so you may want to take a coat or sweater. We also toured the Old Jail, The Fountain of Youth and San Sebastian Winery while on the tour - those are reviewed separately.
