Boat captain was knowledgeable, engaging, and willing to back up to view things people missed. He encouraged questions and provided thoughtful answers on plant and animal management as well as river history and environmental policies.

We did the 2 hr nature cruise. Tickets are much cheaper through 3rd party sales. We bought onsite and paid around $75 for 2 people. The cruise is very informative. You get to see many types of birds, Alligators and turtles. The weather was perfect! The ladies that worked the boat were very friendly. Totally worth it

It was a beautiful day for a boat tour, and we felt the price of the tour was very reasonable, but it was about an hour too long. There were not any manatees to be seen on this March day, although we saw a few alligators and birds. We had seen all that there was to see and thought we were heading back to the dock when the captain made another loop through an area we had already seen. A lady a couple of rows in front of us said "read the room" and was making "return to dock" signals. I felt bad for him too because I think he was trying to fill the two hour time slot and apparently ran out of things to say. He was repeating information he had already told us a couple of times. We were about 10 minutes late getting back to the dock after an already "too long" tour. We would recommend shortening this tour.
